Computex has become a leading fair, especially for Asian manufacturers. A showcase great local atmosphere and true for all companies that come from China or Taiwan. ASUS this year comes with a new bag.
The ASUS MeMo Pad HD 7 is one of them and goes to show that Taiwanese want to remain a leader in the niche of Android tablets. The name already gives us a hint of what is one of its main virtues: A seven-inch screen in high definition.
Raising the Standard in the Wider Economic
The initials HD High Definition speak but some find their 1280 × 800 pixels as somewhat below what is generally considered the benchmark. However, taking into account the size of the screen, this ratio appears more than acceptable.
Regarding the dimensions we found 120.6 × 196.8 × 10.8 mm. weighing in at 302 grams which is justified by ten hour autonomy by manufacturer. We will then later if indeed it is true or not.
True to form, this tablet also features an IPS panel. Inside, we have an ARM processor quad-core Cortex A7. A level specification holds many similarities with the Nexus but this model has a detail that is his brother: micro SD card slot.
However, while share some details on the hardware the software goes a little behind and this Pad MeMo will feature version 4.0 of Android, without any plan to upgrade for now. It will have a software layer that in the absence of a thorough look, not be particularly intrusive.
In the five-megapixel cameras find us in the back and 1.2 in the front. To give you sound, we have a speaker system Sonic Master. We will have two different configurations according to the report: an 8GB for emerging markets and another 16GB for the rest of the world.
