The new Xbox One was finally released on 21st May, 2013. Experts and analysts say that with the release of the new gaming console, a new era of gaming has started. It is an ultimate gaming console and an all in one entertainment system for the new generation of multimedia consumers. The Xbox One is best of all previous devices of Microsoft.  Besides gaming, this mini PC has dynamic uses. It has some powerful features and has enhanced Kinect’s voice recognition features in it. You can watch TV, paly games, watch movies and use web services like Skype on this one single gadget.

In specifications, Xbox is the competitor of PS4. This gaming titan of Microsoft, has 64 bit 8 cored AMD CPU with 500 GB hard disk and 8GB DDR3 RAM. You can also connect it with Wi-Fi for it has 802.11n Wi-Fi in it. It also has Wi-Fi Direct functionality which allows the user to transfer data with other devices particularly the new Xbox controller. One interesting to be mentioned here, it also has a Blu-ray drive in it. Remember that the Blu-ray format was created by Microsoft’s competitor Sony for the first time. There are also gestures recognition features in Xbox. According to Microsoft, the Kinect 2 gesture recognition feature in Xbox has the ability to detect motion in as little as 13 billionth of a second.  It has a 1080p camera which makes footage look more pleasing when you will watch it on your HD TV. The Kinect sensor has a resolution of 1080p with 60 per second frame rate and a larger field view angel.

Xbox’s controller:

Instead of connecting the Xbox’s controller using wires, it uses infra-red technology. This makes this device to be used also in darkness also. Microsoft says that the Xbox’s controller has 40 technical based innovations. The controller runs on battery.
