The HP Envy Rove 20 is both a tablet and an All in One PC. This 20 inch touchscreen device can easily be carried away you can take it where you can as HP has it the title of “Mobile All in One”. The device runs the latest Windows 8 and allows you to the savour the touch experience.
Design of Rove 20
The Rove 20 has been designed in such a way that it could easily be carried in the hands. The dimensions of the device are 20 x 12.5 x 1.4 inches and weights 12.27pounds. The main reason of its increased weight is its aluminium cover. The aluminium casing gives protection and strength to the 20 inch screen of the device.
Hardware specifications
The Rove 20 has got the latest 4th generation Hashwell processor inside it. We people examine the Core i3-4010U dual core model which was running at 1.7GHz having 4GB DDR3 RAM inside it along with Intel HD4400 graphics. There were total two slots fro RAM can accept up to 16GB RAM in total. The hardisk space of the device was 1TB.
The power button is on the top side while the bottom of volume control is on the right side of it. The HP also supplies a Bluetooth keyboard mouse and keyboard with the device. The mouse is quite glossy and quite ergonomic.
The most of the users would like to use the touch system rather than using keyboard or mouse for input. The 20 inch display screen is quite bright and displays some great colours and has got broad viewing angles. The touch response is quite fast and crispy and can detect as many as ten points of touch simultaneously. The device has got an HD webcam. Am ambient light sensor is also attached for controlling the brightness automatically. Sensors like a gyroscope and digital compass are also integrated in the device so that you can also flip the device.
Connectivity options for Rove 20
There are a total of three USB 3.0 ports on the device. There are also ports for audio input and output and also for inserting a full sized SD card whose slot lies at the bottom edge of the device. Ethernet port is absent in the device but HP has included a USB 10/100 dongle in the box. The device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 4.0. Intel WiDi is also present on the device for connecting a compatible display with wirelessly. Neither there is any HDMI port on the device nor any Micro DisplayPort.
