The Android phone market is largely ruled by Samsung. Uptill few years back, there was no good competitor of Samsung. In the market, those mobiles which had the best specs always belonged to Samsung. The trend is now changing as HTC is coming up with some good phones which can be declare competitors of Samsung’s flagships. Last year, HTC released three excellent phones in the market the One X, One X+ and the Droid DNA. This year, HTC has come up with an even more highly loaded phone “The HTC One”.
The mobile has an elegant design. Its body is made up of aluminium. The weight of the mobile is just 5.04 ounces and is very light to carry in your hands. The mobile is pretty thin, just 0.36 inches but is quite solid.
Hardware of the mobile
The front side of the camera has a Super LCD 3 screen on it under the Gorilla Glass 2. The screen size is 4.7 inches and has a pixel resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The pixel density is as much as 468PPI. The screen of the mobile is surrounded by bezels which are quite thin.
There is a micro USB port on the lower side of the mobile. This USB port can also be made to function as an HDMI port by using a special cable and then you can connectyour mobile to your TV. You can also connect to your TV wirelessly by using Miracasst. The power button which is on the top of the mobile can also work as an IR blaster and converts your mobile into a remote control for your TV.
HTC One Specs
Beneath the heavily pixeled screen, there lies some heavy hardware and you can compare this phone with the flagship of any other mobile company. The One has a 2GB RAM with a quad core processor which can work at a clock speed of 1.7GHz. The mobile has a built in memory of 32GB or 64GB but it is not expandable.
The rear camera is of just 4MP. The camera is attached to aImageChip 2. HTC says that they have totally redesigned their imaging system which uses “UltraPixels”. This lets in more light to come into the f2. 0 aperture of the camera.
The mobile runs Android 4.1with the HTC sense 5.0. The Sense 5.0 is the third party skin for Android by HTC. The Sense 5.0 is a lot more changed than from its predecessor. It has a BlinkFeed and it collects stories from your social media and news resources and display them in a visually appealing array of tiles. This kind of display is also found on Windows Phone.
