The demand for the largest smartphone ever from Apple, the iPhone 6 Plus, and the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 are so high that both the models are currently unavailable for purchase ,as the firm claims they have broken its pre-order records.

Apple’s website states that the phablet will be available for shipping within three to four weeks, which means you will be able to lay your hands on your desired iPhone 6 model in October. Apple claims that there has been a significant demand for the new iPhone models. The response has been so good that they have managed to set a record for the highest number of pre-orders overnight.

US operator AT&T also claimed it had a record number of pre-orders overnight, claiming to have sold “hundreds of thousands” of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets on the day they went on sale.

Last year, Apple set a new record, selling a total of nine million iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c units in the first weekend of availability. The firm has yet to announce iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus pre-order numbers.
