Given a false alarm, on Thursday night 30 police in Los Angeles went to the offices of Robotoki, game developers, mistaking the statue of Simon “Ghost” Riley the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, with a gunman.

According to Robert Bowling, founder of Robotoki, a designer who had no idea what it did the security button pressed it, causing a 911 call warning that the police department took as real, so they sent four policemen.

Bowling explained that the studio is equipped with a panic alarm in case of an armed threat. It was installed last Wednesday.
