Germany’s Porsche expects to sell out its priciest-ever model by early December. Production of the 918 Spyder began in Fall of 2013, so it’s clear that porche’s production rate is painfully slow. The prices for this baby starts at 768,026 euros and can go all the way up to 947,716 euros in Germany.

According to Automotive News:

[stextbox id=”info”]Production of the plug-in hybrid supercar’s 918 promised units will end next July, and planned production is sold out through late March or early April, said Andre Oosthuizen, vice president of marketing for Porsche Cars North America Inc.”

“So if that’s anything to go by, it’s probably in the last and the final straight,” Oosthuizen said. [/stextbox]

So far, Porsche has delivered less than 100 918 Spyders globally, but most of the 918s that trickle off the line (hand build, actually) have already been purchased.
