Dropbox desktop application is quite helpful for pulling your photos and videos over to local storage device or any other external storage drive. Like Google+ app, you will see prompt message to set up backups for your photos, while you run the app first time. The only disadvantage of this storage is that you can store data up to 2GB.
- BitTorrent Sync
Cloud storage platform has its own benefits, but there is nothing reliable and efficient like local storage devices. If you want to have copies of your pictures and videos from android device to laptop or any other desktop computer, bittorrent sync will do the job for you.
First of all, you have to download the app from Play Store and then after installing, go to Backup. Tap on the icon of folder and find your phone’s directory having your photos. Email the secret code to your email address. You install the desktop version of the application and click on Add a Sync Folder buried under Folders option. Enter the secret key on the first line and browse where your photos are from second line. When you use same Wi-Fi, this application will back them up.
